Feature in “American Art Collector”
A collaborative show between the contemporary department and the department of naturalism, the exhibition will showcase three emerging artists. Focusing on the use of written word within visual arts, this exhibition brings to light the prevalent use of textuality within visual imagery.

The gestures of writing words are recorded in Erika Guillory Page's "word weavings"TM. Actual words and letters become obscured beneath layers of paint or when she scrapes off the paint altogether, leaving just a suggestion. Work is featured on the lower right hand portion of the magazine spread, "CEP2", oil stick on paper, 12" x 12".
American Art Collector is a monthly magazine specially written for collectors, galleries and painters of traditional fine art. The magazine's unique editorial format features previews of what major artists are painting for sale at their upcoming shows.
